Position Highlights | This position will provide direct administrative support to 11 faculty and a large group of postdocs and graduate students within the Department of Astronomy. Responsibilities will include meeting and travel scheduling, financial processing and documentation, various programmatic organization duties, website updates, extensive communication with internal and external stakeholders, and record keeping and/or report development. This is a dedicated administrative support position for faculty members and students of the Steward Theory, Data and Computation (TDC) group. This role will work in coordination with the TDC project manager and other administrative staff. The successful candidate will bring strong organizational and administrative support skills and experience working effectively across broad and diverse programs. This position will allow for flexible/hybrid work arrangements within Arizona.
